Superintendent of
Fort Thomas Independent School District
Selected for the Class of 2008 "40 Under 40"

Downselected from pool of 250,
our community's leader shines.

August 13, 2008 - Last week, John Williamson, Superintendent of the Fort Thomas Independent School District, was named as a member of the "40 Under 40" class of 2008. Selection of this year's "class" was done by a panel of 20 of the organization's alumni.

When asked about the achievement, Williamson was excited about the opportunities that this recognition gives the students in our district:

He stated, "I am extremely honored to be named with other leaders in the business community. Many of these recipients are leaders in businesses and organization that will ultimately employ our students. I'm excited to build stronger partnerships and alliances that have the potential to provide Fort Thomas students with learning opportunities."

The Forty Under 40 program was started in 1995 to identify and recognize the Tri-State's up-and-coming business, community and economic leaders. Since then, over 400 local individuals have become a Forty Under 40 alumnus and have been recognized for their business accomplishments and their contributions to the community.

Ridgewood Homes congratulates Mr. Williamson for his achievement and thanks him for all of the great contributions leading to this recognition and for the vision with which he will lead our students forward.
